I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Virginia with Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) under PSYPACT. This allows me to conduct telehealth sessions in many states.

Granted by the PSYPACT Commission
Date issued: 01/07/2021
APIT # 5623

I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2009 with experience working in community mental health, geriatrics, and college counseling centers. I had a sub-specialization of Positive Psychology (Prevention, intervention, and health promotion through emphasizing positive development and growth). My research experience was in relationships, forgiveness, apology, and health. I worked in a college setting for several years teaching, conducting research, and developing an undergraduate research program.  I then career transitioned into private practice where I have been since 2015. I work with individuals 18 and up.  I believe anyone can learn about themselves, gain additional coping strategies, learn new communication skills, and experience growth through attending counseling. I like to approach therapy as a coach where we work together to facilitate understanding to build self-acceptance, change, and growth.
